My 5 most popular posts from 2025
If you haven't heard, it's the end of the year. Here's a chance to catch up on some of my most popular posts.
I am participating in the custom that is known as “sending out end-of-year round ups.” There are lots of new people here (hi!!! it’s great to see you!) so I wanted to share my most-viewed posts from this past year.
While the first is super recent (and unsurprising given the dumpster fire of a job market this year), the others come from earlier this year, especially considering I was pretty absent in January & February 🫣.
A quick reintroduction
I think I have 50% more subscribers than I did 2 months ago, so I wanted to take a minute to re-introduce myself to new readers!
I’m Christie, an instructional designer, weightlifting enthusiast, beginner runner, cello student, and bean lover. I started my career as a high school history teacher before earning a Master’s in Instructional Design & Technology. I worked as an instructional designer at Rutgers for 8 years, where I helped faculty improve their classroom pedagogy, designed in-person, blended, and online courses, and developed and delivered training on educational technologies.
More recently, I’ve been working in Customer Education at SaaS (software as a service) tech companies, where I help design and deliver live product training to scale customer learning and product use. I still teach an online course for Rutgers each spring.
Anyway, this is where Teaching with Tech in Mind came from! My brain, thinking about teaching people how to use tech and/or teaching with tech. If you’re new, I’m so happy you made it here.
And finally, thank you!
Thanks for choosing to read my little corner of the Internet this year. I’m excited to keep learning and growing with you all in 2026!
